Roshnee Primary School, yes, another school, and oh what fun.
Polly as per usual was on good form and had all the children laughing and listening to her and joining in.
I read a chapter from, How Polly Became a Pirate and then handed over books for the school library.
It’s amazing how Polly takes over when she is on my arm (my alter-ego ha, ha, ha), but it is equally amazing how, even though the children know she is not real, they react to her as if she was. It’s almost as if they want her to be real. Polly seems to help open the door to release their imagination, the pages become their playground of possibilities.
